Conroe ISD Hosts 7th Annual Career Expo

Attendees interact with businesses and organizations at the 7th Annual CISD Career Expo.

Conroe ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program held its 7th Annual Career Expo on Thursday, October 26 at the Lone Star Convention Center. The goal of the Career Expo is to connect students with Montgomery County career and workforce information so that students can more successfully transition into post-secondary education and the workforce after graduation. This year’s event boasted over 500 attendees.

An invitation to the expo was also extended to the neighboring districts of Magnolia, Montgomery, New Caney, Splendora, and Willis ISDs.

Director of CTE Greg Shipp commented, “We are so thrilled to be able to bring these resources to our students. The more information students can have prior to graduating results in greater opportunities and success after high school.”
